Funding for Foreign Partnerships.

May 9 is Europe Day and on this day back in 1950, the Schuman Declaration was proposed and the foundations of the EU were laid.

This is a day where we can all celebrate peace and unity in Europe and the impact European funding is having in our area.

Chwarae Teg’s European Social Fund and Welsh Government funded Agile Nation 2 Project has been supporting women and businesses in Wales for over a year now and is working hard to close the gender pay gap in Wales.

This wouldn’t be possible without European funding, and Agile Nation 2 is having a positive impact on women’s career progression in Wales and their earning potential.

You may know that through our projects, Chwarae Teg has been fortunate enough to be involved in very varied transnational work over the years and has actively shared the good work of Wales with our partners overseas.

Did you know that you too can add a transnational dimension to your organisation?

Sometimes it’s just a question of knowing where to start, and who to turn to for advice. Which is why – as part of the EU-funded Agile Nation 1 Project, Chwarae Teg produced a Transnational Toolkit to help others get started.

This Toolkit starts at the very beginning and could help you get started on your own transnational journey. What’s more? It’s free!

If you’d like to learn more about our transnational toolkit contact Chwarae Teg’s European Lead, amy.kordiak@chwaraeteg.com.

In addition to this online guide, Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) has a Third Sector European Team (3SET) who can assist any third sector organisations to find suitable funding.
