The spokesmen have expressed their wish to help challenge and improve the current situation of women’s discrimination in public life. The Welsh Minister for Natural Resources, Carl Sargeant pointed out the necessity to reshuffle the application process for women.

The so called Confidence Gap has to be overcome, this is where a woman would not apply for a position because she felt she didn’t meet all of the requirements of the role, yet men would be likely to apply even if they only met a few of the requirements.
To achieve the goal of having more women in leadership positions we need to tackle the issue beginning with the recruitment process. Please feel free to share your experience with us on this issue.
