This project was part-funded by the Welsh Assembly Government/ESF/Careers Wales.
The aim of this project was to encourage more women into non-traditional training and work opportunities especially science, engineering and technology through short taster courses and personal development sessions.
The project engaged with often hard to reach and economically inactive women and acted as a catalyst for change.
The project also delivered equality and diversity training to employers making the business case for a more diverse workforce and raised awareness of gender stereotyping issues with teachers, careers advisers and educators.
Over 300 women, 45 employers and 110 educators benefited from the project.
