Chwarae Teg managed and delivered the SME Equality project from 1999 - 2004. The project worked with businesses throughout Wales to promote the business benefits of equal opportunities.

Worked with businesses throughout Wales

The project had a team of experienced business advisors that assisted companies to develop a diverse and productive workforce and break down barriers to employment that excluded groups can face.

Chwarae Teg managed and delivered the SME Equality project from 1999 – 2004. The project worked with businesses throughout Wales.

The advisors responded to the specific needs of individual companies and developed a tailor made package of support within an equalities framework.

The project focused on gender, race and disability equality issues although it also provided guidance on developing a positive approach towards sexual orientation, age, size and social class within the workplace.

Such was the project’s success it was mainstreamed into the Welsh Development Agency and continues to work with businesses across Wales.
