From 1991 the Language Centre has offered refugees and immigrants language education in the form of courses that combine language teaching with labour market related training for women and men; in particular raising confidence in migrant workers and ensuring they are ready for the Danish workplace.
The Language Centre has completed a further 4 ESF-projects since 2004 with a special focus on flexible and individually targeted courses that combine language-learning, individual competences, personal qualifications, relevant work-sector internships and mentoring.

It offers professional training including: academic and professional guidance, Individual and personalised attention, training-talks in centres and companies, occupational and entrepreneurship services for young people, Job club and Job search workshops.
Mas Carandell was chosen for its expertise in engaging with the most hard to reach groups in society and the ability to assess and evaluate soft skills.
Grafia, Czech Republic
Since its foundation in 1993, Grafia worked to support the foundation of Czech companies and ensure the needs of the workers and equality and diversity are high up the business’ agenda.
Grafia is focused on both internal and external company communication as well as international communication especially in PR, marketing, promotion, employees’ education and development, translation, interpreting and conference services.
It helps its clients to develop the relationship with their customers as well as with the employees. Grafia has experience of supporting businesses with implementing measures to enhance their equality and diversity through its recent ESF funded project ‘Cristal’.
This project trained HR representatives in the importance of flexible and remote working. Grafia was chosen as a partner for its ability to engage with businesses and promote equality and diversity in a way that appeals to businesses.
There was also significant overlap with Grafia’s Cristal project and the work carried out on Agile Nation’s Evolve Programme as they worked with HR representatives to increase their awareness of the benefits of more modern forms of working.
